Gaby Murphy acted as interim Head of Development at the Gallery between 2017 and 2018. She helped build capacity, established a corporate partnership programme and built credibility for the fundraising activities of the Gallery internally with the staff and Board, and with external stakeholders. Since 2019 Gaby has been appointed as consultant to lead the capital campaign to support the completion of the Gallery’s masterplan. It is a great pleasure to continue working closely with Gaby.

Following the launch of our new five year Strategic Plan in 2019, Gaby worked with us to develop a supporting fundraising strategy that would enable us to achieve our new strategic vision. She quickly understood the existing fundraising plans and worked with our internal team to develop an updated and effective plan within budget and to our agreed timeframe. During this, she was always responsive and insightful.

Gaby worked with Age & Opportunity over a two year period. She was initially engaged to carry out a review of our fundraising activities and make recommendations, and she then went on to develop a new revenue generation strategy for the organisation. Gaby worked with the team at Age & Opportunity to provide ongoing support and coaching during the implementation of the strategy. This was extremely beneficial to our team and it has made a significant difference in terms of how we approach our revenue generation; the strategy that Gaby developed for us is now embedded in the organisation and has had a very tangible impact to date.

asthma_society_logo“Gaby worked with us to create a new fundraising strategy for the Asthma Society at a time when revenue from traditional sources was falling dramatically and we had to completely re-think our approach. Gaby worked with us to review the best options for ASI and put together a comprehensive strategy with a clear plan and financial forecasts. To date, the plan is working well for us. It provides us with a framework which we can easily adapt to take account of changes in the external environment. We found Gaby very professional to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gaby to other charities.”
